You are managing customer projects by building a bridge between our customers, sales team and product team. Finally you help enabling merchants to accept card payments on regular mobile devices.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead our project development efforts.
As a Project Manager at Rubean AG, you will play a pivotal role in organizing, managing, and driving our softPOS solution projects to success. You will work closely with clients to ensure their business needs are met, collaborate with the product team to define and prepare roadmaps, and keep all projects on track with clear status updates. Your expertise will guide our project development processes, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
Your tasks as a Project Manager:
- Manage the agreement of project milestones, continuously document them and tightly follow them up with the responsibles
- Serve as a bridge between customer, sales team and product/development team, ensuring alignment on project goals, client needs and product offerings.
- Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project updates and queries.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting timelines and resources as needed to meet deadlines by conducting weekly project review meetings to assess progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure project status, risks, and issues are tracked and communicated effectively.
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to address project challenges.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for client change requests, managing the process from initiation through to signed agreement, development, and delivery, ensuring a smooth end-to-end process.
- Develop and implement project plans that align with the company’s strategic direction, company’s technological innovation goals and market expansion objectives.
- Collaborate with the product and sales teams, leveraging regular inter-team meetings, to define project scopes and prepare detailed roadmaps.
Your profile:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in project management, preferably in the FinTech or payment solutions sector, with a strong understanding of technical aspects related to software development and digital payment technologies.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, and experience in conflict resolution and negotiation, with a track record of leading projects to successful completion

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written:
C1 level in English.
B2 in German and/or Spanish (optional, but highly beneficial) - Familiarity with project management software and tools: JIRA, MS Project, ClickUp or similar project management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset, with experience in client relationship management and a capacity to provide solid, technically informed answers to client queries.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, and others)
