- Postmen and parcel deliverers can now accept cash on delivery card pay-ments via the Rubean App
- Just four months after signing the contract, Correos has already rolled out Rubean's PhonePOS app to more than 12,000 couriers' handhelds in a first step
- The Rubean app was integrated into Correos' business processes by gen-eral contractor NTT DATA Spain S.L.U.
Munich, 13th December 2023 The FinTech company Rubean AG (Symbol: R1B:ETR, ISIN: DE0005120802, WKN: 512080, Munich) in strategic partnership with NTT DATA Spain S.L.U., has imple-mented the major project of the Spanish Post "Correos" within four months. In a first major step, the first 12,000 Correos mobile devices were fully automatically equipped and activated with the Rubean point-of-sale application within one week. The next rollout wave with 15.000 additional Rubean apps is scheduled for January 2024.
At the recipient's front door, the postwomen & postmen now scan the customer's par-cel, check a potential outstanding amount and simply let the customer make a contact-less payment with a bank card on the mobile scanner.
Rubean receives a monthly basic fee for the activated terminals and additionally earns money from every transaction carried out.
The Rubean app PhonePOS is a purely software-based and certified card acceptance solution for mobile phones and handhelds and has a leading position in the rapidly growing softPOS market.
