GPE will initially use RUBEAN&#8217;s PhonePOS software solution for a pilot project in Hungary to test the market. GPE is a subsidiary of Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), a leading global payment service provider. With PhonePOS, RUBEAN offers small merchants and organizations the opportunity to easily and cost-effectively accept cashless payments. With PhonePOS, the merchant&#8217;s Android smartphone or tablet becomes a cash register terminal, allowing them to accept contactless card payments from their customers anywhere.
